At KELIC Education Foundation, we believe that every young person deserves a fair chance at education and growth, and education should never be stopped by financial barriers. As part of our mission to mentor, empower, and equip Africa’s next generation, we have established dedicated funds to support students at critical stages of their academic journey.
These initiatives are targeted at our mentees, both at the secondary school and university levels , ensuring that deserving students can access quality education, mentorship, and opportunities for growth. Through the generosity and vision of our community leaders and founders, KELIC now proudly hosts:
1. The Hadiza Obed Danlami Fund for Girls in STEAM – honoring the legacy of our co-founder by empowering girls in secondary school to pursue education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through scholarships, mentorship, and exam support.
2. The Oghenetejiri Ruth Djegbada Endowment Fund for Work-Study – established to provide funding for KELIC’s Work-Study Program for Undergraduates, by funding tuition waivers, scholarships, and professional work-study experiences that prepare undergraduates for global competitiveness.
Together, these initiatives strengthen KELIC’s mission to provide a continuum of support: from secondary school scholarships to undergraduate mentorship and work-study opportunities, ensuring that every stage of a student’s journey is met with resources, guidance, and hope.
